About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Security Officer Route Patrol Driver in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, serving clients in settings including retail and malls. The officer monitors and patrols a retail location, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, provides customer service to visitors and staff, and responds to changing site needs. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The pay rate is $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations; report observations through established procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exterior areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and other policy violations.
Maintain a professional presence while assisting with traffic flow, store opening and closing activities, and incident documentation as directed.
