About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in New York, NY, you will help safeguard clients, employees, visitors, and operations. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.00–$18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating information according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, entry points, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
