About The Position

As a part-time unarmed patrol security officer at a logistics and distribution location in the Bronx, NY, you will help safeguard the client by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting access control. The role includes communicating professionally with employees and visitors and providing customer service while following site-specific policies and procedures. Officers may respond to emergencies and other security concerns according to established protocols. The listed schedule is Monday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM and Tuesday 2:00 AM–10:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.35–$18.35 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Guard Card or license.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, employee entrances, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access points, verify authorized personnel and vehicle entry, and report unusual activity or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations according to site procedures.
