About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol Support for an assigned site in the Bronx, New York. The position provides a fixed weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. Additional shifts may be at multiple sites, and hours can vary up to 40 per week. The listed pay rate is $17.85–$18.35 per hour. The scheduled shift is Saturday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The role supports security at a shipping-related site, including warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter patrols; access monitoring; incident response; customer service; and completion of required reports. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
- A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, drivers, employees, and visitors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and security concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
- Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when directed.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with company and site procedures.
