About The Position

As a full-time unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location in Pensacola, Florida, you will help safeguard clients and contribute to a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication. The role involves responding professionally to security concerns and working in accordance with location procedures and policies.

The position pays $19.10 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday 4:00 PM–12:00 AM, and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 12:00 AM–8:00 AM. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local regulations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management by directing individuals in accordance with location procedures.
• Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, and unusual conditions to site leadership.
