About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location in Sterlington, Louisiana, you will help safeguard clients and support site operations. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible security presence, and report security-related concerns. The role calls for exceptional customer service, clear communication, and adherence to site policies and procedures. The scheduled shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. The pay rate is $14.25 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; a license may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site-specific escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access to assigned areas by checking credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries according to site procedures.
Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
