About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer to patrol a medical facility in Atlanta, Georgia. The officer will help safeguard clients and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications-focused location. The role involves visible patrols, customer service, monitoring activity, and responding professionally to security-related concerns.

The schedule is Sunday and Monday through Thursday, 5:45 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour. Applicants must meet hospital vaccination requirements and are subject to background investigation and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws.

Requirements

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures.
• Report unusual conditions, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, documenting observations and actions according to site requirements.
• Maintain awareness of activity around equipment areas, offices, and public-facing spaces.
