About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed foot-patrol Security Officer at a technology-focused data center in Sparks, Nevada. The officer will provide customer service while carrying out site security procedures, maintaining a visible presence, and helping deter security-related incidents. The role involves communicating professionally with employees and visitors and supporting a welcoming environment. The stated schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Pay is $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, entry points, and restricted areas.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate records of site activity.
• Report maintenance concerns, unusual conditions, and security-related incidents to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Provide customer service and communicate professionally with employees and visitors.
