About The Position

As a Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) at a logistics and distribution location in Palmetto, Georgia, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, supporting access control activities, and helping deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will provide customer service and clear communication while working with a team that values integrity, care, agility, reliability, and innovation. The role is full-time, pays $20.00 per hour, and is scheduled for overnight shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles. Employment is conditional on applicable background investigation and drug screening. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law; a valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exteriors, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
