About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed patrol Security Officer for a utilities-related location in Spring, Texas. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting patrols, monitoring access, verifying credentials as directed, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees, contractors, and visitors. The role includes customer service, communication, incident response, and accurate documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The pay rate is $16.15 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local regulations.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements if required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
X-ray screening experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
Monitor site access, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor and contractor logs.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; report observations and coordinate with appropriate personnel or emergency responders.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities using required reporting systems.
