About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for credential validation in South Bend, Indiana. The role provides a reliable assigned-site shift and allows the officer to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. The fixed shift requires a six-month commitment. Additional shifts may provide opportunities to work up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The position pays $18.20 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

The Security Officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, responds calmly to incidents and critical situations, and conducts regular and random patrols. Work environments and conditions may vary by site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
