Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for personnel and vehicles entering or exiting the facility; maintain visitor logs and issue temporary access credentials as directed.
Monitor access points, alarms, and security-related systems; report irregularities, unauthorized access attempts, and equipment concerns according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, parking areas, and the perimeter; document observations and help deter unauthorized activity.
