About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location in Sunnyvale, Texas, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supporting access control and loss prevention efforts. You will provide customer service to visitors and team members, communicate professionally, and use technology to document activity. The scheduled shifts are Tuesday and Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.54 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail sales areas, entrances, exits, stock areas, and perimeter spaces to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns according to site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency responders when needed.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for incidents, patrols, and other security-related observations.
