About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Security Officer at an Allied Universal logistics and distribution location in Rancho Cordova, California, you will help safeguard clients and maintain a welcoming environment. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide clear communication and customer service while working with a team that values integrity. The schedule is Monday and Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while following site-specific procedures and carrying out emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access by checking credentials, maintaining visitor and driver logs, and following entry and exit procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, document observations, and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency services as directed.
Help maintain orderly vehicle, pedestrian, and trailer traffic flow while supporting security policies for the logistics and distribution location.
