About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Guard for hotel and resort patrol in Burlingame, California. The role safeguards guests, visitors, staff, and property by maintaining a visible security presence, conducting patrols, monitoring activity, and responding to concerns. The officer is expected to provide professional customer service and help create a welcoming environment. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $25.00 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and staff while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations; notify hotel personnel or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, entrances, parking areas, exterior grounds, and the property perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe property activity, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
Complete incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation accurately and promptly.
