About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a government location in Louisville, Kentucky. The role safeguards clients and the public through routine patrols, monitoring assigned areas, and providing professional customer service and clear communication. The posted schedule is Monday through Thursday, 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The pay rate is $19.45 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while following site-specific procedures and security protocols at government facilities.
• Respond professionally and calmly to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, identifying and reporting unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization according to site procedures, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Support emergency responses, including directing occupants and visitors during evacuations or other site-related events.
