About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Patrol Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. The role involves maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, and providing customer service and communication to employees, customers, and visitors. Officers respond professionally to security concerns and follow site-specific procedures, post orders, and escalation procedures. The position is scheduled Wednesday and Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and pays $18.24 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor entrances, exits, and surrounding areas; observe and report unusual activity, suspicious behavior, and policy violations.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security concerns.
Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining confidentiality of client, employee, and customer information.
