About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Guard for a logistics and distribution location in Lithia Springs, Georgia. The role involves monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, helping deter incidents, supporting access control and alarm response, and providing professional customer service and clear communication. The position is scheduled Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at a rate of $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with alarm panels.
Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Experience with access control and badge systems.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and taking part in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, access issues, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, parking locations, trailer yards, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
