About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Guard for a residential location in Ocala, Florida. The role serves and safeguards clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors. The officer communicates clearly, responds to concerns, and helps support a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s people-first culture with integrity and teamwork. The position pays $14.79 per hour. The listed schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The role includes paid training, access to additional shifts through the Claim a Shift platform, and career growth opportunities.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe property activity, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations according to site procedures.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in accordance with company and site-specific reporting requirements.
