About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to serve at a government location in West Palm Beach, Florida. The role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitoring assigned areas, reporting security concerns, and providing professional customer service and clear communication. The schedule is Friday and Saturday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.85 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at government facilities, following site-specific policies, security procedures, and applicable emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, assist with directions, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with company and site requirements.
