About The Position

As a part-time Security Guard in Ontario, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a retail distribution location. This driving position involves managing entry points, verifying access, monitoring activity, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. The listed schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and policies, and emergency-response activities when appropriate.
Monitor and control access points; verify credentials and delivery documentation; maintain visitor and vehicle logs; and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking facilities, and the business perimeter.
Accurately and promptly document incidents, observations, and access-control activities in accordance with company and site requirements.
