Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Credential Services
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer at an Amazon warehouse in Charlotte, North Carolina. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting routine patrols, monitoring access points, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing professional customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel. The role includes following site-specific security procedures, reporting observations, documenting activity, and responding to alarms and incidents as needed. The scheduled hours are 2:00 PM–10:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The pay rate is $18.36 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on applicable background investigation and drug screening. State or local licensing may be required before employment.
Requirements

- Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter; identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, and potential hazards.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; communicate with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
- Provide directions, report maintenance or operational concerns, and follow Allied Universal and client site protocols.
