About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer for a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The role involves monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and helping deter security-related incidents. The officer provides customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel, communicates professionally, and supports a welcoming environment. The stated pay rate is $18.87 per hour. The scheduled shifts run from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to identify unusual activity, hazards, and potential policy violations.
Monitor access, verify visitor and contractor authorization according to site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow established post orders, and notify appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear and accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
