About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Corpus Christi, Texas, at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. The role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observing and reporting activity, and providing customer service. The officer works with a team focused on collaboration, integrity, and putting people first. The stated pay rate is $15.24 per hour. The listed schedule is Thursday 2:30 AM–1:00 PM, Friday 12:00 PM–10:30 PM, and Saturday 12:00 PM–9:30 PM.

Applicants must have at least two years of security-related experience, be at least 18 years old for unarmed work, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. A security-related license and customer service experience are preferred. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements vary by applicable state or local rules and may need to be met before employment. A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials, following visitor and driver entry procedures, and maintaining required activity logs.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site-specific escalation and reporting procedures.
• Observe inbound and outbound traffic and support the orderly movement of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with location procedures.
