Security Officer Full Time Patrol Compliance with Active Clearance

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer to support an aerospace and defense location in Huntsville, Alabama. The officer will safeguard the site through routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence, support access-control procedures, respond to incidents, and provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors. The position pays $20.60 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify credentials according to site requirements; document and report access concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following post orders and escalation procedures.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs covering patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
