About The Position

As a Security Officer with an active clearance in Salt Lake City, Utah, you will serve and safeguard clients in an aerospace and defense setting. In the front desk role, you will provide a welcoming, professional presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. You will help maintain an orderly environment, respond to concerns, and deliver customer service with integrity. The position is full-time and pays $21.69 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a front desk, following site-specific policies and security procedures.
Monitor facility access by verifying visitor credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests according to site requirements.
Answer incoming calls, manage communications, and provide clear directions or information to authorized personnel and visitors.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
Maintain accurate records of access activity, incidents, and other security-related front-desk communications while helping deter unauthorized entry.
