About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location in Plano, Texas, you will help safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide customer service and clear communication while working as part of a team that values integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Pay is $19.53 per hour.

Requirements

An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access control points, verify credentials as assigned, and document visitor, vehicle, and incident information in accordance with site procedures.
Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership about security concerns and operational needs.
