About The Position

As a Security Officer with Active Clearance Customer Service Patrol in MOORESTOWN, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. You will support access control, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while contributing to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented culture of integrity.

Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, building perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, access, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support a professional environment at an aerospace and defense-related administrative location by reporting maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations.
