About The Position

As a Security Officer with Active Clearance Patrol Operations in Ontario, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at an aerospace and defense location. In this unarmed patrol role, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors, and reporting access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
