About The Position

As a Security Officer - Dispatch with Active Clearance in Tucson, Arizona, you will serve and safeguard clients at a leading aerospace and defense location. You will coordinate communications, monitor alarm and access-control activity, document incidents, and support response efforts. Your visible, service-focused presence will help deter security-related incidents while providing clear communication to personnel and visitors. The role is full-time and pays $26.03 per hour. The listed schedule is Thursday through Saturday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, and Sunday, 6:00 PM–10:00 PM.

Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Receive, prioritize, document, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, and requests for assistance to appropriate on-site personnel.
• Monitor communication channels and relevant systems, maintain accurate dispatch logs, and relay timely information during routine and critical situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, escalating notifications according to site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the aerospace and defense location and perimeter, as assigned.
