About The Position

As a Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location in Saint Louis, Missouri, you will help safeguard the client by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and responding professionally to site needs. You will provide customer service and clear communication while working with a team that values integrity, care, agility, reliability, and innovation. This is a full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule has not yet been assigned and will be determined during the hiring, onboarding, and training process based on business needs.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• An active DoD Secret security clearance.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local security licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• A state-, county-, or city-issued security license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Monitor assigned areas and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
• Communicate clearly and respond professionally to site needs.
