About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location in Kansas City, Missouri. The officer will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, and professional responses to security concerns. The stated schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 5:00 AM–1:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.79 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office areas, common spaces, parking facilities, building entrances, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe building activity; document unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents in accordance with site procedures.
Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
Complete required activity reports and logs.
