About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a commercial real estate location in Johnstown, Ohio. The officer will help safeguard tenants, visitors, employees, and property by maintaining a visible presence, conducting patrols, monitoring access, responding professionally to security concerns, and documenting relevant activity. The role is scheduled Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM and pays $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees while following security procedures and site-specific policies and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor building access points and observe visitor and contractor activity to support property access procedures.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
