About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed security officer for an automotive-related location in Sparks, Nevada. The officer will help safeguard the client by conducting patrols, supporting access control, responding to incidents, and providing customer service. The position uses computer or tablet systems to document observations and support daily operations, while representing the company through teamwork and integrity.

The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The pay rate is $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

• A guard card or license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, vehicle inventory areas, access points, and perimeter, noting and reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor and vendor entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Maintain a professional presence to deter unauthorized activity and report potential hazards, property damage, or policy concerns.
• Use computer or tablet systems to document observations and support daily operations.
