About The Position

As an Unarmed Security Officer at an automotive location in Sparks, Nevada, you will serve and safeguard clients, visitors, drivers, and employees. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide customer service and clear communication. The role involves using technology to document observations and assisting visitors and employees while upholding Allied Universal’s people-first culture through teamwork and integrity. This is a part-time position scheduled on Mondays and Tuesdays from 5:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The pay rate is $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.

A guard card or license.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while following site-specific procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, including contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and shift information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
