Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Surveillance
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol surveillance Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a residential community in Pearland, Texas. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role emphasizes customer service, professional communication with residents and visitors, and contributing to a welcoming environment. The position pays $16.50 per hour and follows a schedule of Monday and Tuesday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by law. State or local licensing may be required before employment. A valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
- Have a valid driver's license if the position involves driving.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security procedures, community policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, streets, entrances, amenities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Observe and report security concerns, property damage, maintenance issues, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
