About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Saint Charles, Missouri, you will help safeguard clients, employees, visitors, and vendors. You will conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence, monitor access, respond to security concerns, and provide customer service while following site procedures and emergency response activities. The role involves communicating with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts and completing accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if assigned to a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access to the location and verify visitor and contractor authorization according to site procedures.
• Respond professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations while following escalation and documentation procedures.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
