About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor security systems and identify threats before they escalate. The role involves working in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses, while helping protect people and property. The position is part-time in St. Paul, Minnesota, with a Saturday and Sunday third-shift schedule from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. The hourly wage is $22.30. A uniform is provided at no cost.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be able to provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Have a state license if required.
• Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Successfully complete a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to help ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors’ identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
