About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a part-time Surveillance Security Foot Patrol Officer in Clearwater, Florida. The role involves monitoring security systems and screens to spot threats before they escalate, documenting incidents, responding to potential threats, and conducting regular patrols to protect people and property. Officers also control access to secure areas, verify visitors’ identities, identify security-system vulnerabilities or malfunctions, and collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.

The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., for 18 hours per week. The hourly wage is $17.00. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Be able to stand or walk for the entire shift.
• Have at least 6 months of security, military, or law-enforcement experience.
• Have a Class D state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Document observed events and incidents in detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
