About The Position

As an unarmed Security Officer Foot Patrol supporting a government transportation location in Riverside, California, you will help safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide courteous customer service to visitors and staff and help maintain a welcoming environment. This is a full-time position paying $18.50 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday through Sunday, 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Pepper spray certification.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transportation facilities, offices, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, and assist with visitor management according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established emergency response protocols.
Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications for Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
