About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Foot Patrol Officer to monitor security systems, identify threats, and help protect people and property. The role is based in Clearwater, Florida, and has a part-time schedule on Saturdays and Sundays. The posting lists the shift as 10:00 pm–7:00 pm and 18 hours per week. The hourly wage is $17.00, and DailyPay is available to GardaWorld employees.

The position includes regular patrols, monitoring and analyzing security systems, controlling access to secure areas, documenting incidents, and responding to potential threats. The officer may collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Be able to stand or walk for the entire shift.
• Have at least 6 months of security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• Have a Class D state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents in detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to help ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors’ identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
