About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Asset Protection at an automotive location in Sparks, Nevada, you will serve and safeguard clients while helping create a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and provide customer service.

This is a full-time position paying $25.00 per hour. The posted schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 5:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, using a problem-solving approach, and document observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility areas, vehicle lots, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized personnel and visitors, and report unusual activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Help deter unauthorized access and property loss through a visible presence, consistent patrol activity, and timely reporting of concerns.
