About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Reno, Nevada, you will help safeguard clients by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service to employees and visitors and support a welcoming environment while following site procedures and policies.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and guests by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including offices, common spaces, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials according to site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to established procedures.
Complete detailed activity reports and communicate shift information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Help deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence.
