About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed - Facility Protection in Sparks, Nevada, you will serve and safeguard clients at an automotive location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, integrity, and teamwork. The position is full-time and pays $25.00 per hour. The schedule is 7:30 PM to 3:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements; a license may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service at an automotive location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and use a problem-solving approach to incidents, vehicle-related concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the automotive facility, parking areas, service lanes, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe incoming and outgoing vehicle and pedestrian traffic; report unusual activity according to site procedures.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
