About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer to patrol a government facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role involves safeguarding the client, providing customer service, maintaining a visible security presence, and responding professionally to security concerns. The scheduled shifts are Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. The pay rate is $16.43 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established site protocols.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and maintain accurate incident and activity documentation.
Communicate professionally with site personnel, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership about security concerns and incidents.
