About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in Cleveland, Ohio. The role serves and safeguards clients by conducting routine property patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, observing and reporting security concerns, and providing customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff. Officers follow security procedures and site-specific policies, respond to incidents and alarms, and communicate relevant information to site contacts or Allied Universal leadership. The posted schedule is Friday and Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $15.30 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, consistent with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, parking facilities, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with property protocols.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
