About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol Security Officer for a retail distribution location in Greencastle, Pennsylvania. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, and reporting observations. The scheduled hours are Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.18 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment.
Have a valid driver's license if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, drivers, and visitors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency-response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and effectively to incidents, access concerns, delivery-related issues, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, parking lots, trailer yards, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and vendors according to site-specific procedures.
Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
