About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for property patrol at an industrial distribution location in Louisville, Kentucky. The role provides a designated site and fixed weekly anchor shifts, requiring a six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to increase hours up to 40 per week and scale back when needed. The listed pay rate is $17.00 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Friday and Saturday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license only if assigned to a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and access points.
• Monitor and document the movement of visitors, contractors, deliveries, and vehicles in accordance with site policies.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and daily activity logs describing patrols, observations, incidents, and actions taken.
