About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol Security Officer at a commercial real estate location in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. The officer will help safeguard the property by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, responding to incidents, and providing professional customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and staff. The schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.84 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff while following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter locations, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and site information, and report maintenance, lighting, or property concerns to appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while collaborating with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
