Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Property Patrol Driver
About The Position
As a part-time Unarmed Property Patrol Driver in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, you will safeguard a retail location by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and supporting a welcoming environment for customers and staff. The position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy. You will provide customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity. The schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.50 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to retail clients, employees, and visitors by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and constructively to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the retail sales floor, entrances, stock areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities.
- Communicate professionally with store management and Allied Universal leadership.
